Program Details
The programs of study for guitar majors are designed to develop skilled performers who are thoroughly acquainted with the history, 文学, 和 pedagogy of the guitar. 吉他 majors will demonstrate their advancing musical abilities 和 knowledge of solo 和 chamber music repertoire through participation in performance classes 和 ensembles.
In addition to studies with our expert faculty, students are provided additional opportunities to play for 和 observe world-renowned guest artists. Recent master classes in this department have included Pepe Romero, 大卫·罗素, Manuel Barrueco, Eduardo Fern和ez, Benjamin Verdery, Paul Galbraith, 沙龙Isbin, 奥斯卡Ghiglia, 和 Fabio Zanon.
